Reinstall WD My Book External Drive 8tb

Uninstallation:

Uninstall your hard drive from your computer. Right-click on the icon of WD My Book drive and click on Safely Remove my Book. You can also click on the eject option.

If you remove your device without this step, you may lose your data stored on your hard drive.

Now, disconnect your hard drive from your computer.

Installation:

Now, moving ahead to the installation process, take out the power cord and connect it between your hard drive and an electrical socket.

Take the USB cable and connect it between your drive and computer.

You can notice the newly installed hard drive titled My Book under My Computer.

Double click on the setup file. Then, the installation process begins.

Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the installation.
