 On the Windows taskbar, click the Configure Backup option by right-clicking the WD Backup software icon.

Select your WD device from the displayed list.

In the Automatic Backup Schedule window, select the Hourly, Daily, or Monthly option.

In the Select Files to Backup window, choose the folder on your computer to save the backup files.

Choose the files that you need to back up and then click the OK button.

Close the Select Files to Backup window followed by the Setup Complete window.

Once you have completed the initial Western Digital backup software, the auto back starts automatically.
